Bistro DT
Bistro DT, a modern bistro where young and old feel at home: sparkling chandeliers and vivid paintings set the scene. Bistro DT focuses on international cuisine with real bistro meals, but the traditional Dutch pancakes aren't left out either.
The menu ranges from saté specials, meat and fish dishes to complete salad meals and vegetarian dishes. There's plenty of choice for the children too. In short, a great night out for the whole family.
Bistro DT isn't just another restaurant. It is named after the mischievous fatty "Dik Trom" from the books by C Joh. Kieviet. The stories were all set in the Haarlemmermeer area. Dik's father's saying became a catchphrase: "He's an unusual lad, that's for sure".
And Bistro Dik Trom is an unusual restaurant, that's for sure too! The restaurant can comfortably seat groups of around 60. It's also great for kids, with a separate playroom in the basement where they can let off steam between courses. The upper room can be exclusively reserved for groups of up to 25 persons.
