Booking discussions and reception
Events held at Claus are always prepared and seen through with the greatest possible care. You determine the setting for your event in consultation with the Sales department. The Events Manager will then see to it that the project goes without a hitch.
Quotation and Confirmation
The organisation of an event always starts with the drafting of a quotation, following a discussion with the Sales department about your detailed wishes for the event. A tour of the Event Center, the drafting of a schedule and the initial briefing are also included.
Custom events
If you are after something unique we will be glad to draw up an original program for you. We will then make an appointment and go through your ideas: What do you want to achieve? Do you want to deliver a message? Is it going to be "an experience", or just a relaxed evening? Do you wish to give your contacts a bit of a treat? Is it to be a smart and sophisticated evening, or more relaxed? We will go through the whole thing with you, including your past experiences and your ideas about the budget. We will then make a budgeted proposal, without any obligation.
Your Party Manager
Every event is managed by one or more Party Managers. People who know their business and understand how important it is that each and every event goes well. This person will be introduced to you at the start of the event. You will quickly go through the schedule again, and this person will be your contact throughout the entire event.
Technical Team
The Technical and Maintenance departments are a crucial element of the Claus organisation. The event has to proceed smoothly from start to finish. The technology mustn't be allowed to let us down. Interiors must look their best every time, and Claus maintain extensive technical and general services departments for this purpose. We hire in specialist services from our professional event partners.
Kitchen staff
The kitchen staff don't just provide all the dinners and buffets for events, but also supply all our restaurants (three restaurants in the event center, one in the hotel and Papa's Beachhouse). Our Chef de Cuisine learned his trade in some of the best catering businesses in the country. For years now he has been responsible for ensuring that our guests enjoy perfect food, freshly made, prepared with love for the task in our own kitchens. It goes without saying that the kitchens comply with the highest standards for food hygiene (HACCP and Marriot International).
